Design:
• Developed for 2 ml to 100 ml Vial Size formats.
Equipment is designed in 2 Parts:
• One part of the equipment is operated in Grade C Background.
• Another part of the equipment is operated in Grade B Background.
PP Vial transfer is a collection of the following supporting equipment:
• Mobile LAF
• De-Bagging Station
• Dynamic Pass Box
• Lid and In-Lay Paper Removing Station
• Tub Invert and Removing Station
• Buffer Conveyor
• Mobile LAF is used for transfer of PP Vial Tubs enclosed in two Layered Bags. It is docked to De-Bagging Station. Peripheral Bag is cut open, before the PP Vial Tub enclosed in secondary bag is transferred to the De-Bagging Station in 90o Orientation.
• Debagging Unit consists of Pneumatic holding grippers and cylinder unit for cutting Secondary Bag. Also comprises a pusher unit to transfer the tub onto the detachable conveyer present in the DPB.
• Entry and Exit of DPB is provided with Isolation Shutters. The PP Vial Tub is transferred from Grade C to Grade B in Grade A Background.
• In the Lid and In-Lay paper removal station, the Tub is held in the desired orientation by the positioners; So that the grippers connected to the Robotic Arm can remove the lid for the vacuum cups to pick the in-lay paper and drop the same in the bin.
• In Tub Invert and Removal Station, the tilting plates hold and rotate the tub in a 180 degrees Upside down orientation. Vacuum cups pick and drop the tub in the bin.
• The PP Vials are then brought to upright position before being transferred over the buffer conveyor by the pusher mechanism.
• The PP Vials accumulated over the Buffer conveyor are then conveyed to the tunnel outfeed of the conveyor with the help of feed worm.
• Thereafter PP Vials are transferred to the infeed star wheel of the filling machine with the help of existing conveyors and feed worm.
